PHF Junior Super League from 27th
LAHORE - The third PHF Junior Super Hockey League will be played at the National Hockey Stadium, Lahore, from April 27 to May 8. The Pakistan Hockey Federation has announced eight team for the competition. The teams are: Lahore, Quetta, Sialkot, Karachi, Faisalabad, Multan, Peshawar and PHF Academy team.
Rehman Malik appointed PHF Patron
LAHORE - Interior Minister Rehman Malik has been appointed Patron of the Pakistan Hockey Federation, it was announced on Tuesday. Malik has been asked to work on the revival of bilateral series with India. It has been learnt that Prime Minister Syed Yousuf Raza Giullani, who is the chief patron of the Pakistan hockey, in his talks with his Indian counterpart Mammohan Singh, agreed for the revival of the ties and efforts are being made to resume relations through the national sport.

LAHORE - Secretary, Pakistan Hockey Federation Asif Bajwa said on Tuesday the schedule of the proposed Pak-India hockey series will be finalised with the mutual understanding of both the hockey bodies. "We are in touch with the Hockey India for the revival of the bilateral series and hopefully all the necessary modalities in this regard will be sorted out in due course," he told APP here.
