PESHAWAR - At least three militants were gunned down in a clash with police at Hayatabad Industrial Estate in the wee hours of Monday. PESHAWAR - Three militants and a policeman were killed in a pre-dawn gunfight in Peshawar on Monday, police said.
The clashes took place in the wealthy suburb of Hayatabad when a group of five militants attacked a police patrol with small machine guns and Kalashnikovs, police said.
"Three militants were killed during the exchange of fire. We also lost one of our policemen," said Shafiullah Khan, a senior police officer.

PESHAWAR - Two Police Personnel including Station House Officer (SHO) were injured in a roadside remote control bomb blast near Rehman Baba Colony here on Friday.
According to details, SHO Khan Razzaq Police Station and a gunman were wounded when their vehicle hit a roadside remote control bomb blast near Rehman Baba Colony in Shauba Bazar.
