LAHORE: The launch ceremony of Peter Jacob's book titled 'Pakistan Ka Muqaddama Aqwam-e-Muttahida Mein' (Pakistan's case in the United Nations) was held on Thursday. The book has been published by the National Commission for Justice and Peace (JCJP). Khalid Ahmed, a senior political analyst and journalist was the chief guest of the event. Khurshid says Munter intervening in Pakistan’s affairs
ISLAMABAD: Prof Khurshid Ahmad, senator and Naib Amir of the Jamaate Islami Pakistan, on Tuesday said that he had serious concerned about the activities of US Ambassador Cameron Munter.

WASHINGTON: The US on Wednesday added Pakistan's Falah-e-Insaniyat Foundation, a charity associated with a banned militant group, to its official list of blacklisted terror organizations.

‘US keen to strengthen Pakistan’s energy and health sectors’
LAHORE: The US is keen to strengthen the infrastructure, education, energy and health sectors of Pakistan and would also allocate funds for these sectors, US Coordinator for Non-Military Assistance to Pakistan Robin Raphel said on Tuesday while talking to a selective group of journalists.

China to aid Pakistan’s civilian nuclear projects
ISLAMABAD: On his return from China, President Asif Ali Zardari on Tuesday said Chinese leaders had committed full assistance to Pakistan in the field of civilian nuclear energy.
The president was talking to Prime Minister Yousaf Raza Gilani, who called on him at the Aiwan-e-Sadr.
