KARACHI - Four people were gunned down in separate incidents across Orangi Town on Wednesday, Pakistan Today has learnt. Police said that two friends - Muhammad Yaqoob, 42, and Ziaur Rehman - were passing through Qaddafi Chowk in Mominabad when four men on two motorcycles opened fire at them. KARACHI - A man killed his wife and sister over a domestic issue in the Sir Syed police precincts on Wednesday afternoon. SHO Changez Khan said that Ghulam Akbar, 28, resident of Bilal Colony, opened fire at his wife, Sabina, 22, and sister, Gul Akhtar, 24, over a domestic issue. KARACHI - Taking a U-turn on its earlier stance, the Sindh government claimed that the Rangers' action in Orangi Town was never an "operation" to start with and that is why there was no point in seeking formal permission from the provincial authorities for this purpose.
