All impounded Russian aircraft leave, except one
KARACHI: All Russian aircraft that were impounded by the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) have left the country except for one at the Karachi airport.
Sources told Pakistan Today that the impounded aircraft were given unconditional permission to leave by the CAA and only one AN-21 is currently grounded at Karachi airport on technical grounds, but that too would leave very soon.

LAHORE: Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif has directed that one dish law and the observance of fixed timings should be ensured strictly at the weddings.

ISLAMABAD: The Supreme Court on Thursday ruled that it had jurisdiction under the constitution to serve notices to intelligence agencies as no one was above the law.
"The Supreme Court has wider jurisdiction under Articles 184(3) and 185 of the constitution to issue notices to the respondents in cases of public importance," the court ruled.

The country's domestic debt has risen by Rs 813 billion (20 percent) over the last year, indicating massive borrowings by the government to control the widening fiscal deficit.
The domestic debt stood at Rs 4.05 trillion in August 2009, but expanded to Rs 4.863 trillion by August 2010.
In the first two months of this fiscal year, the domestic debt expanded by Rs 211 billion or 4.53 percent, mounting to Rs 4.863 trillion, the highest-ever mark in the country's
