LAHORE - Punjab University (PU) administration on Friday suspended its Estate Officer (EO) Muhammad Shokat and Assistant Security Officer Muhammad Shokat on allowing Islami Jamiat Taliba (IJT) to hold programs inside the varsity.

ISLAMABAD - Chief Election Commissioner Justice (r) Hamid Ali Mirza on Friday promoted all scale-16 and above officers of the commission.
The Election Commission of Pakistan spokesman said on Friday that the decision was taken in the public interest and for smooth functioning of the organization. LAHORE - Lahore High Court (LHC) Chief Justice (CJ) Ijaz Ahmad Chaudhry on Friday issued show-cause notices to two judicial officers including Nankana Sahib Additional District and Sessions Judge Muhammad Saleem and Bahawalnagar Civil Judge Shahzad Raza for trying to influence him for their promotion and posting.

KARACHI - The bodies of two Military Intelligence (MI) officers were found in Baloch Para of the Bhains Colony area in Quaidabad on Thursday.
