ISLAMABAD - World Health Day was observed on April 7 across the globe including Pakistan. This year theme of the World Health Day is "Antimicrobial resistance: no action today, no cure tomorrow."
Each year, the World Health Organization selects a key global health issue and organizes international, regional and local events on the day and throughout the year to highlight the selected area. World Health Day 2011 focuses on antimicrobial resistance and its global spread.

SAHIWAL - 32nd death anniversary of Pakistan Peoples' Party's founder chairman, Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto was observed in Sahiwal. A large number of PPP leaders and workers attended the ceremony while speakers paid glowing tributes to Shaheed Bhutto over his great services for the nation.

KARACHI: The health experts have expressed their grave concern over the increasing oral diseases in Pakistan on World Oral Health Day 2010 observed around the globe on Wednesday and have said that due to the oral diseases children and adults are unable to attend their school or work, causing millions of hours to be lost each year.
