KATHMANDU - An official of the Pakistan Embassy was shot by an unidentified gunman on Thursday in Kathmandu, the capital of Nepali. Mehboob Asif, 36, who works at the visa section of the embassy, was injured in his stomach and hand when he was shot near the office on Thursday morning, police said.

KARACHI - Nepal will take help from the Constitution of Pakistan in designing the same document for itself, Chief Justice of Nepal Ram Prasad Shreshta said on Sunday.

Nepal reinforces peacekeepers after Haiti riots

KATHMANDU: The Nepalese army on Tuesday said it had reinforced protection of its peacekeepers in Haiti after they were attacked by crowds angry over a cholera outbreak blamed by some on the soldiers.
Two people were killed in the riots on Monday.
