Musharraf must be extradited, Nazir tells Cameron

LONDON - Lord Nazir Ahmed, member of Britain's House of Lords, asked British Prime Minister David Cameron in a letter on Thursday to send former president Pervez Musharraf back to Pakistan to face cases pending against him in Pakistani courts.

Lord Nazir calls on PU VC

LAHORE - UK House of Commons Member Lord Nazir Ahmed on Saturday visited the Punjab University (PU) and called on Vice-Chancellor (VC) Dr Mujahid Kamran at the varsity's New Campus.
Matters of mutual interest and academic and research collaboration between the PU and British universities were discussed in the meeting. Lord Nazir visits Emergency Services Academy

Lahore - UK House of Commons Member Lord Nazir Ahmed visited the Emergency Services Academy on Friday and lauded the services of the Rescue 1122 particularly its response time of seven minutes and pledged support in capacity building of Rescue 1122 staff from the UK.
According to details, Nazir along with Councilor Jahangir Akhtar and Councilor Rotherhan Westward visited the Emergency Services Academy where he was briefed on various emergency training being imparted to rescuers.
