Two Chinese engineers dead as mine collapses in Muslim Bagh
QUETTA - Two Chinese engineers were killed in a mine-related accident in Killa Saifullah district on Sunday. According to reports, the Chinese engineers were busy in mining of chromites in Muslim Bagh area when the mine caved, which resulted to their instant death. The dead bodies were recovered from the debris and shifted to Quetta for onward dispatch to their country. The victims are identified as Konjxing Shen and Zhohjias Isheg.

Egypt sentences Muslim to death for Coptic shooting
CAIRO - An Egyptian state security court on Sunday sentenced a Muslim man to death for killing six Coptic Christians and a Muslim police officer in a drive-by shooting on Coptic Christmas Eve in January 2010.
Mohamed Ahmed Hussein, 39, known as Hamam Kamouni, had been charged with the "premeditated murder" of the Christians and the police officer and with "intimidating citizens" in Nagaa Hamady in southern Egypt after mass on the eve of Coptic Christmas.

LAHORE - SPM Stags won their match in the 4th SPM League Cricket Tournament in the Professional Group here on Saturday. SPM Stags beat Muslim Gymkhana by 118 runs.

Student protest chokes traffic at New Muslim Town Morr
LAHORE: Protests organised by students of various colleges on Saturday created a massive traffic jam on roads adjacent to the New Muslim Town Morr.
Punjab College students were protesting against police torture of students and teachers at the Punjab Assembly a couple of days ago. Commuters expressed anger over the traffic jam and criticised students for protesting on roads. The protesters blocked the roads using buses, choking traffic on the Canal Bank roads irking motorists.

ISLAMABAD: National Assembly Standing Committee on Information and Broadcasting members criticised the Wikileaks website saying its reports about Muslim countries was a part of a conspiracy to create rifts among Muslim states.
