LAHORE - The quarter-final of the 26th M Yaseen Akhter Memorial Cricket Tournament between P&T Gymkhana and Delhi Gymkhana will be played on January 26 at Wahdat Colony Ground.

Shujaat, Mushahid meet ANP, ST, JUP leaders ‘for Karachi peace’
KARACHI - PML-Q leaders Chaudhry Shujaat and Mushahid Hussain continued their meetings with different parties on Saturday for restoring
peace in Karachi. They called on leaders of the ANP, the Sunni Tehreek (ST) and the Jamiat Ulema-e-Pakistan (JUP) separately and discussed matters pertaining to the law and order situation in the city.

Khosa to meet Nawaz after visiting Nodero
LAHORE - Punjab Governor Latif Khosa has said he would meet PML-N chief Nawaz Sharif after his visit to Nodero and would take all further steps with the consent of all democratic parties.

ISLAMABAD - The government is still hopeful that JUI-F chief Fazlur Rehman will revisit his decision of quitting the government at the Centre, as Interior Minister Rehman Malik has convinced Fazl to meet President Asif Ali Zardari in the coming days.

Federal Implementation Commission to meet Punjab officials
LAHORE: The Federal Implementation Commission members would meet Punjab government departments officials on Monday to sort out different "contentious" issues related to dissolution of federal ministries, Pakistan Today has learnt.
