Lahore - The civil miscellaneous (CM) application challenging recent increase of nine percent in the petroleum products was filed again in the Lahore High Court after removing objections raised on it by LHC office on Monday. Petitioner Hameed Goraya through his counsel Muteen-ul-Haq Chaudhry had filed the CM petition on Saturday. However, the LHC office had returned the application to the petitioner due to technical objections.

LAHORE - Lahore High Court (LHC) Chief Justice (CJ) Ijaz Ahmad Chaudhry on Friday issued show-cause notices to two judicial officers including Nankana Sahib Additional District and Sessions Judge Muhammad Saleem and Bahawalnagar Civil Judge Shahzad Raza for trying to influence him for their promotion and posting.
