LDA pulls down nine illegal buildings

LAHORE - The Lahore Development Authority's Town Planning Wing demolished on Saturday as many as nine buildings being illegally constructed in PIA Housing Scheme and sealed another four on the main boulevard of the same scheme. Four buildings were being constructed as commercial structures in violation of the residential plans approved for plots 9-G, 16-F, 410-E and 40-B/1. LAHORE - LDA has rescheduled the auction of as many as 26 shops at the lower ground floor, besides the space for a restaurant at the first floor of the Park and Ride Plaza on Gulberg`s Main Boulevard.
