Seminaries will protest if blasphemy laws amended

KARACHI: Leaders of different religious seminaries have threatened a mass movement against any amendment in the blasphemy law at a press conference in the Wafaq-ul-Madaris Al-Arabia (WMA) office on Sunday.

Lacuna in rent laws burdening courts with long-drawn litigation

There are more than six parallel rent laws that govern the landlord-tenant relationship in Pakistan. However, serious lacunas in these laws result in long-drawn litigation between the two parties and overburden the courts.
