Accountability laws being rolled into one
ISLAMABAD - The government and Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) agreed on Monday to dovetail all the accountability laws for various cadres into one consolidated law for across-the-board accountability. ISLAMABAD - Prime Minister Syed Yusuf Raza Gilani on Tuesday said his government would not allow anyone to misuse the blasphemy law. KARACHI - Interior Minister Rehman Malik assured religious scholars on Saturday that blasphemy laws would not be amended, while the clerics demanded that the government form a 10-member committee to resolve the blasphemy law issue.
