LAHORE – Lahore Board won the All Pakistan Inter Board Basketball Championship that concluded here at the Lahore College for Women University on Thursday. Lahore Board outclassed Karachi Board with a big margin of 41-0 and with this win the Lahore girls lifted the trophy. SC judge’s parents murdered in Lahore Cantt

LAHORE – Senior Supreme Court Judge Javed Iqbal’s father and mother were murdered on Tuesday in mysterious circumstances at their Cavalry Grounds home, by hitherto unidentified burglars, possibly for resisting them, the city police chief Aslam Tareen told Pakistan Today. LAHORE – The Pakistan Rugby Union launched its season with a friendly test between Islamabad Jins and Lahore Rams on Sunday.

ISLAMABAD – At least 2,690 incidents of violence against women were reported in 36 districts of Punjab from January to June 2010 and Lahore took the lead with 458 such cases, said data available with Pakistan Today.
