Student congregations a no-no inside KU campus
KARACHI - Any kind of student congregations on campus have been banned by the University of Karachi (KU) administration, with the decision set to be enforced from January 15 - when students return for the new academic session, Pakistan Today has learnt.
The varsity administration, in a meeting with the Rangers director-general (DG), has also decided to hand over its security affairs to Pakistan Rangers due to the prevailing law and order situation on campus, sources said.

KU exams in limbo for security reasons

KU and UoG to join hands
KARACHI: The vice chancellors of the University of Karachi (KU) and University of Gujrat (UoG) on Tuesday agreed in principle that the two universities should collaborate on various sectors of education. A meeting was held in this regard between the KU Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Pirzada Qasim Raza Siddiqui and UoG Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Mohammad Nizamuddin. Nizamuddin along with his wife was on a visit to the KU, which is their Alma mater as well.
