MINGORA - Six militants were killed while security forces' three personnel were injured during their clashes with each other at three different places in Swat Valley, the officials said.
They said that a group of militants attacked the personnel of security forces at Utroor Kalam and injured two personnel of the security forces. They added that personnel of the security forces repulsed the attack and shot dead two militants.

PESHAWAR: At least 24 militants and 12 security personnel were killed and several others injured in clashes in Baizai area of Mohmand Agency on Friday.
The clashes erupted when a group of militants attacked five checkposts in Baizai late on Thursday. Officials said around 150 militants attacked the checkposts at Ghanam Shah, Badmani and Sar Kandaw.

QUETTA: A bicycle bomb exploded Friday in the city of Quetta, killing a policeman and wounding four others, police said. The bomb exploded as a police vehicle passed in the suburbs of Quetta, senior police official Hamid Shakil told AFP.
"At least one policeman was martyred and three others and a passer-by were injured in the bomb blast," Shakil said. Police station officials also confirmed the attack and casualties. No group immediately claimed responsibility for the attack.

OKARA - A person was killed while two others were injured in separate road accidents. Reportedly, Pervez Qayyum, a resident of Zia-ud-Din Colony, was going to Okara on his bike with his friend when a speedy van driven by Muhammad Akram hit him, killing him instantly.

KARACHI: A young man was killed and another injured on Wednesday in a firing incident, as a Rangers' search operation in Kunwari Colony continued for a second consecutive day.
The incident took place in the wake of a protest staged by residents of Kunwari Colony, who were demonstrating against what they claimed was a farcical operation. PESHAWAR: At least 50 people were killed and over 70 injured on Monday when two suicide bombers blew themselves up in the premises of the office of the Galanai political agent in Mohmand Agency.
