Free camp on kidney disorders

LAHORE - On the occasion of the World Kidney Day, Sheikh Zayed Hospital's Institute of Kidney Diseases will set up a free camp to create awareness about kidney disorders on March 10 from 9am to 3pm. Institute of Kidney Diseases Head Dr Aizaz Mand will supervise the camp while Sheikh Zayed Hospital Chairman and Dean Dr Saeed will inaugurate it. An awareness walk will be held at 9am while lectures will be delivered by diabetes, heart, eye and kidney

Crackdown on kidney traders begins

LAHORE
Five people, including three doctors are involved in illegal sale of kidneys, Punjab Executive District Officer Health Dr Fayyaz Ranjha told the media on Thursday.
However, an FIR has not been registered yet. Dr Ranjha said that the law enforcement agencies, on the orders of the chief minister, have started a crackdown.
