Crackdown on kidney traders begins
LAHORE
Five people, including three doctors are involved in illegal sale of kidneys, Punjab Executive District Officer Health Dr Fayyaz Ranjha told the media on Thursday.
However, an FIR has not been registered yet. Dr Ranjha said that the law enforcement agencies, on the orders of the chief minister, have started a crackdown.
He said the case was highlighted after the death of a female Oman national who died because of the alleged negligence by doctors. He added that
