LAHORE - The 30th U19 Junior National Hockey Championship has started at Bahawalpur Hockey Stadium. On Saturday, two matches were played. SSGC and NBP won their matches. British FCO decides to localise junior posts

LONDON - The British Foreign & Commonwealth Office (FCO) has decided to localise the junior posts of its staff working all over the world.
Under the proposed plan, more than 400 junior clerical posts would be filled by employing local people overseas to work in the UK embassies and high commissions in more than 170 countries of the world.

Junior Hockey from 26th

LAHORE - The 30th U-19 Junior Hockey Championship will be played at Bahawalpur Hockey Stadium from February 26 to March 13. According to an official of the Pakistan Hockey Federaton, players will only be allowed to represent their parent department and if any player has switched to another department, he should have to provide his transfer documents for scrutiny.

Nasir clinches Junior Squash title

LAHORE - Nasir Iqbal defeated fellow team mate Sadam Ul Haq in the final to clinch the Punjab National Junior Squash Championship 2011, that concluded here at the PSA Complex on Monday. Iqbal took 21 minutes to undo the resistance extended by Sadam.

LAHORE - It would be an all PAF final in the boys category of the Punjab National Junior Squash Championship and surprisingly, both the finalists of the girls event are from ZTBL.

Junior Squash semis today

LAHORE - The semifinal matches of the Punjab National Junior Squash Championship 2011 will be played today here at the PSA Complex. On Saturday, the quarterfinal matches of the championship were played with the seeded players moving to the last four in all the age categories of under-11, 15, 17 and 19 of boys and girls.

Junior Squash Championship reaches quarters

LAHORE - The Punjab National Junior Squash Championship 2011 reached the quarter-final stage here on Friday. The event will have its finals played on February 7 at the Punjab Squash Complex. On Friday, the main round matches started, with President Punjab Squash Association Malik Amjad Ali Noon opening the round. The day started with some of the first round matches.
Another 46 matches were decided in under-11 to 19 different age categories of boys and girls.

Junior Squash C’ship underway at PSA Complex

LAHORE - The Punjab National Junior Squash Championship 2011 rolled into action here at the PSA Complex on Wednesday. On the opening day, qualification round matches were played after Tariq Rana, Honorary Secretary Punjab Squash Association, took out the draws.
Sixty-four matches in different age groups of under-11, 13, 15 and 19 were held. On day two, some of the third round qualification matches will be played, followed by the main round matches.

Punjab National Junior Squash from 7th

LAHORE - The Punjab Squash Association will organise the Punjab National Junior Squash Championship from February 2 to 7. Boys and girls from all over Pakistan will be participating in this Championship. The final will be played on February 7 at 1600 hours at PSA Complex Lahore.
Governor Punjab will be the chief guest in the final. The competitions will be held in five boys and two girls categories. The boys will compete in under-11, 13, 15, 17 and 19 categories while girls

Junior hockey from Feb 26

LAHORE - The U-19 National Junior Hockey Championship will be played at Bahawalpur Hockey Stadium from February 26 and will be organised by the Punjab Hockey Association on behalf of the PHF.
The championship is of importance as the PHF wants to spot talent and widen the player base, from where a strong side would be groomed, ahead of the 3rd Men's Asia Cup 2011.

LAHORE - The Sports Board Punjab picked a 17-member boxing team after week-
