70% of flood survivors prefer jobs over assistance: report

ISLAMABAD – Around 70 percent of people affected by floods in Pakistan have said that their top priority was employment and not the financial assistance, said a survey conducted by international agency Oxfam.

LAHORE – The All Deaf Group demanded a one percent quota from the two percent quota for the disabled in the government jobs. LOS ANGELES – Steve Jobs, the CEO of Apple, has reportedly visited a cancer treatment clinic. Jobs, 55, who has been on medical leave since last month, was seen at the Stanford Cancer Centre in Palo Alto, California, according to celebrity news website.

LAHORE – Lahore High Court (LHC) Chief Justice (CJ) Ijaz Ahmed Chaudhry on Friday directed all district and sessions judges of Punjab and Islamabad to stop court employees from engaging in any other private job or business in addition to their official assignments.
