70% of flood survivors prefer jobs over assistance: report
ISLAMABAD - Around 70 percent of people affected by floods in Pakistan have said that their top priority was employment and not the financial assistance, said a survey conducted by international agency Oxfam.

LAHORE - The All Deaf Group demanded a one percent quota from the two percent quota for the disabled in the government jobs. LONDON - Britain said on Tuesday it would axe around 11,000 armed forces jobs as part of defence cuts brought in to help reduce the country's record budget deficit. The announcement added detail to the broad figures outlined by finance minister George Osborne in last October's spending review. LHC restricts court employees from private jobs
LAHORE - Lahore High Court (LHC) Chief Justice (CJ) Ijaz Ahmed Chaudhry on Friday directed all district and sessions judges of Punjab and Islamabad to stop court employees from engaging in any other private job or business in addition to their official assignments.

KARACHI: Founder-Editor of Pakistan Today Arif Nizami has said he will raise the issue of jobs quota for the sons and daughters of hawkers in the media organisations in the country.
