The action has been taken over continuous violations of the PEMRA Ordinance 2002 and licence terms and conditions. This news item is an effort by the Geo News to deceive and misguide general public of the facts as well as to malign the authority.

PPP Punjab issues 11 point agenda to Shahbaz Sharif
LAHORE - Pakistan People's Party (PPP) Punjab issued an 11 point agenda to Chief Minister (CM) Shahbaz Sharif on Tuesday.
The agenda presented by PPP's deputy parliamentary leader Shaukat Basra demanded answers of his questions from Punjab's CM.
The questions ask the CM about his absence from the provincial assembly's session, quantity of ministries owned by him, steps taken to end corruption, formation of the forward block, Sasti Roti scheme and other issues.

ISLAMABAD - The Competition Commission of Pakistan (CCP), on Monday, issued a show-cause notice to Engro Vopak Terminal Limited (EVTL), for alleged imposition of unfair trading conditions.

KARACHI - The Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP) through the Karachi Stock Exchange (KSE) has warned KSE members against outlawed practices like in-house financing while using the newly-introduced leveraged products, Margin Financing and Margin Trading System (MTS).

LAHORE - Punjab LHC Justice Sheikh Azmat Saeed on Wednesday issued notice to the Punjab secretary finance on a petition of LHC's additional registrar Riaz Ali Zaidi that assailed non- provision of 50 percent increase in basic pay of the high court employees.
