ISLAMABAD - Gas supply to five power plants remained suspended for a second day due to a gas pipeline explosion.

ISLAMABAD: The National Electric Power Regulatory Authority (NEPRA) has approved an increase of 58 paisa per unit in the power tariff of Karachi Electric Supply Company (KESC). The fresh hike in power tariff has been approved for the month of October in the form of fuel adjustment charges, while the raise would be applicable from January. SBP increases discount rate to 14 percent

LAHORE: In order to control the rising inflation in the country, the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) on Monday increased the discount rate from 13.5 percent to 14 percent.
