LAHORE - A new tussle between Islami Jamiat Taliba (IJT) activists and the Punjab University (PU) administration has started, with both the parties openly accusing each other of corruption, theft and embezzlement. IJT activists condemn the PU vice chancellor for not taking action against Dr Iftikhar Baloch, who has been charged with sexual harassment of female students.
IJT activists accuse the PU administration of embezzlement and corruption and demand Dr Baloch's termination.

KARACHI - The Federal Urdu University of Arts, Science and Technology (FUUAST) Gulshan-e-Iqbal was forced to suspend its evening shift classes after a violent clash between two student organisations outside its building on Saturday. Members of the Pakhtun Students Federation (PkSF) allegedly attacked a student belonging to the Islami Jamiat Talba (IJT) when the latter was leaving a mosque.

LAHORE - Punjab University (PU) administration on Friday suspended its Estate Officer (EO) Muhammad Shokat and Assistant Security Officer Muhammad Shokat on allowing Islami Jamiat Taliba (IJT) to hold programs inside the varsity.
IJT activists also protested against the PU Vice Chancellor Professor Dr Mujahid Kamran after the Friday prayer, chanted slogans against the VC on disturbing their functions and claimed they were 'innocent' while VC was 'revengeful'.
