Army Hockey Championship rolls into action

Lahore: Opening match of the Army Hockey Championship was played today between Lahore Zone and Quetta Zone in the National Hockey Stadium Lahore. Both teams battled it out for a draw with 2 goals each.
Waqar Zafar of Lahore Zone and Nadeem Sarwar Quetta Zone scored 2 goals each for their teams. The championship is being organised by Lahore Corps at the National Hockey Stadium synthetic pitch.

Hockey schedule for 16th Asian Games announced

LAHORE
Organizing Committee of the 16th Asian Games has announced the schedule of the hockey event which will be held from November 12 to November 27 at Guangzhou, China.
According to a press release issued on Tuesday, the men's hockey event will take place from November 15 to 25 for which the ten teams have been divided in two pools. Pool A comprises of Korea, China, Malaysia, Singapore and Oman while Group B includes Pakistan, India, Japan, Bangladesh and Hong Kong.
