Domestic debt hits Rs 5.5 trillion
KARACHI - Pakistan's domestic debt hit the mark of Rs 5.50 trillion in December 2010 because of the government's borrowing policy. In September 2010, the government's domestic debt and liabilities amounted to Rs 5.191 trillion, which shot up to Rs 5.5 trillion in December 2010, showing an increase of Rs 306 billion in just three months.

Senator Waqar’s security car hits electricity pole
LAHORE - A private car reserved for security of Privatisation Minister Senator Waqar Ahmad Khan's children collided with a pole due to speeding leaving three people, including an official of the Elite Force, injured near the Mall Road Underpass on Monday morning.The car was also badly damaged in the incident.

SATAFF REPORT - Three tribesmen were killed when an Improvise Explosive Devise (IED) hit a vehicle in South Waziristan Agency on Wednesday.

KARACHI - Government budgetary borrowings from the banking system have continued to balloon as it has touched 104.2 percent during first half of the current fiscal year despite analysts' fears that the country is inching towards an unprecedented hyperinflation.
