FAISALABAD - Faisalabad Police, during a snap checking, stopped an auto-rickshaw and arrested a terrorist and recovered two hand grenades from him. According to details, Lorry Addah police ordered the driver of an auto-rickshaw coming out of the local bus stand to stop for checking. Eid Milad-un-Nabi rally held in Sialkot

SIALKOT - Hundreds of students of local seminaries on Sunday took out a rally in connection with Jashn-e-Eid Milad-un-Nabi (PBUH) in the city. The rally passed through all the city main roads and bazaars.

KARACHI - The Malir judicial magistrate on Saturday recovered four men being detained at the Anti-Encroachment police station. Judicial Magistrate Ashfaq Ahmed Mughal paid a surprise visit to the police station and ordered the release of Ayub, Yahya, Jameel and Asif on personal bond since the police had failed to produce any evidence against the four men to justify their stay at the police station.

KARACHI - A prize distribution ceremony of QC/RTG was held yesterday at Maritime Training Institute, an outreach campus of Mersk Training Center, Denmark. The Denmark Consul General in Karachi Naheed Irshaduudin, chief guest of the ceremony, distributed certificates to trainers and trainees. KHAR - Security forces on Wednesday arrested a woman allegedly planning to blow herself up in a lawless tribal region where 43 people were killed two months ago in a female suicide attack, officials said. "Security forces and local administration officials raided a house near Khar on Wednesday morning and arrested a woman wearing a suicide vest," senior local official Sohail Khan told AFP.
