Baluchistan’s development top priority of Govt: PM

ISLAMABAD - Prime Minister Syed Yusuf Raza Gilani has said that the development of Balochistan is the priority of the Government.

State bank to buy govt paper in reverse repo

KARACHI - The State Bank of Pakistan said it would buy government paper from commercial banks on Friday in 7-day reverse repo to inject funds into the money market.
The State Bank of Pakistan did not say how much money it would inject through the open market operation.

Govt sets borrowing target at Rs 1.19 trillion

KARACHI - The federal government would borrow Rs 1.19 trillion from the banking system to meet its heavy budgetary expenditures during fourth and last quarter of the current fiscal year.
