ABU DHABI - Bill Gates and Abu Dhabi's crown prince pledged $100 million on Wednesday to deliver vaccines to children in Afghanistan and Pakistan. GAZA - Palestinians gave anonymous burials on Tuesday to two men killed by Israeli forces on the Gaza border and whose unclaimed bodies stirred speculation they might have been foreign migrant workers or al Qaeda supporters.
The two were shot on Jan. 5 while trying to clamber into Israel from the northern Gaza Strip, the army said. Palestinian medics who collected their corpses said the men wore civilian clothes and carried no weapons. Their skin was darker than most Gazans'.

ISLAMABAD: The Upper House of the Parliament was informed on Tuesday that around 203 foreigners had been given citizenship of Pakistan from 2008 hitherto.
State Minister for Interior Tasneem Qureshi, answering questions said citizenship had been granted in accordance with the provisions of Pakistan Citizenship Act 1951 and Naturalization Act 1926 after observing all legal formalities, including security clearance.
