LAHORE - Sui Northern Gas Pipelines (SNGPL) has decreased gas pressure for domestic usage and CNG stations, causing huge problems for consumers. Consumers faced difficulties in preparing food due to very low gas pressure in the city during the last two days. QUETTA - A complete shutter down was observed here in the city on Friday against gas and power load shedding on the call of Anjuman-e Tajiran Balochistan (ATB). POL discovers gas in TAL Block
KARACHI - In a notice issued in Karachi Stock Exchange, Pakistan Oilfields Limited (POL) has disclosed the discovery of 16.3 MMCFD of gas. This find was made in Tolanj X-1 well of TAL Block.
According to Shahbaz Ashraf at AHL this would result in an Earning per Share (EPS) impact of Rs 0.05, Rs 0.23, Rs 0.73 on Oil and Gas Development Company (OGDC) with a 28 percent stake, Pakistan Petroleum Limited (PPL) with 28 percent stake and POL owning a 21 percent stake, respectively.

100 villages will get Sui gas
DASKA - Sui Northern Gas Pipelines (SNGPL) has completed a project of providing Sui gas to Pasrur tehsil's 100 villages while the rest of the villages will be provided with the facility soon. According to reliable sources, the construction of all the inter-city roads in Pasrur would begin at the end of this month.

No respite in gas shortage despite fall in consumption
LAHORE - There has been no respite for CNG users despite a significant decrease in gas consumption and improvement in gas production, Pakistan Today has learnt. High pressure gas pipeline blown up
KARACHI - An 18-inch high pressure gas pipeline of Sui Southern Gas Company (SSGC) was blown up near Hajano village in the Tangwani area of district Kashmore, suspending the gas supply to the entire Balochistan for at least three days. LAHORE - The Lahore Electric Supply Company (LESCO) closed electricity for eight to 12 hours in different parts of the city while gas supplies remained suspended on Monday despite respite from cold weather. Citizens of different areas should get ready for six-hour breakdowns on Tuesday and Wednesday.
