Greek police fire teargas at protesters
ATHENS: Greek police fired teargas at stone-throwing youths marching in Athens to mark the anniversary of the police killing of a 15-year-old, which had triggered the country's worst riots in decades in 2008.
About 3,000 mostly hooded youths marched through central Athens, with a few hundred throwing stones, sticks, oranges and bottles at police. Some smashed bus stops and shop windows.
"Protesters threw three petrol bombs," said a police official who declined to be named.

Fire breaks out at Mayo Hospital ICU
LAHORE: Panic spread in the Mayo Hospital's Emergency Ward after a fire broke out in the main electricity board in the hospital basement on Friday. The fire also caused sparks in the switch board in the intensive care unit (ICU) of the emergency ward producing a lot of smoke in the emergency ward. But the news of the incident created panic in the emergency ward, as patients and attendants rushed towards the exit gates, trying to vacate the building and shift their patients.

Two were injured as Sui gas leakage resulted in fire eruption at Shaheen complex's cafe in front of the Pakistan Television (PTV) station at Abbot Road on Wednesday.
The incident happened around 3 PM. The Fire brigade, Rescue 1122 and bomb disposal squad rushed at the scene instantly and shifted the injured namely Javed Shah and Adnan to the Mayo hospital. Their condition is said to be stable.
