FIA asked to transfer Tawana case to NAB

ISLAMABAD: The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) has decided to investigate embezzlement of millions of rupees in Tawana Pakistan Project (TPP), apprehending that the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) may hush up the case. A source told Pakistan Today that the NAB had asked the FIA through the Public Accounts Committee (PAC) of the National Assembly to transfer the case to it.
