LAHORE - A Lahore High Court's division bench on Wednesday extended the stay against construction of Kalma Chowk flyover and directed the Punjab government to file its reply at the next hearing on April 11.

FBR extends tax payment deadline till February 28
ISLAMABAD - The Federal Board of Revenue has extended the date for payment of taxes for the month of January. According to an FBR notification, the date has been extended till February 28 for payment of taxes /duties for January and filing of Sales Tax and FED returns under Section 74 of the Sales Tax Act, 1990 and Section 43 of the Federal Excise Act, 2005.

ISLAMABAD - Pakistan Housing Authority (PHA) extended application date for the Prime Minister's Housing Scheme in Kurri Road, near Chak Shahzad and I-12 sector, Islamabad till February 28. KARACHI - The State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) has announced that glass manufacturing industry producing exportable goods is now eligible for financing under the central bank's Long Term Financing Facility (LTFF). According to an SBP Circular, SMEFD Circular Letter No. 2 which was issued on Thursday, the financing for plant, machinery and equipment to be used by the export-oriented projects in the glass sector for producing exportable goods shall also be eligible under the LTFF Scheme.
