LAHORE - The suicide blast near a Shiite procession on Tuesday marked the first such incident in the provincial metropolis this year. Last year several incidents of terrorism occurred in the city. Following is a list of such blasts:

KARACHI: Former federal minister Ansar Burney on Tuesday requested the British government 'not to allow' JUI-F chief Fazlur Rehman from entering the UK, due to his 'extremist political background' and known links with the Taliban.
