ATTOCK - Eight unidentified bodies were found in the fields along Haji Shah Road, eight kilometres from Attock on Sunday. According to the police, a local resident had informed them about the bodies on telephone. District Police Officer (DPO) Dr Akhtar Abbas told reporters that the bearded victims, aged between 22 to 32 years, were probably killed at some other place around four days ago before dumping their bodies in the fields.

LAHORE - Lahore High Court (LHC) Justice Sheikh Azmat Saeed issued notice to the Punjab government on a petition challenging appointment of eight directors of Punjab Education Foundation (PEF) by the Punjab government.

ROME - World food prices fell for the first time in eight months in March after record highs largely due to oil prices, though the situation remains volatile, the UN's food agency said on Thursday.
