PESHAWAR - The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa assembly Monday through a unanimous resolution denounced US drone attacks in tribal regions and asked for transferring of the drone technology to armed forces of Pakistan. The resolution was moved by Awami National Party parliamentary leader Bashir Ahmad Bilour. ISLAMABAD - Over 900 people were killed due to American Drone attacks in the tribal areas of Pakistan, while as many as 12,580 people were murdered, 581 kidnappings for ransom and 16,977 cases of abduction were also reported, according to Human Rights Commission of Pakistan.

LAHORE - The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) announced on Wednesday staging a sit-in in Peshawar to stop the NATO supply line on April 23 and 24.

ISLAMABAD - Four missiles fired by two U.S. pilotless aircraft struck a moving vehicle in Pakistan's South Waziristan tribal region on the Afghan border on Wednesday, killing six militants, residents and officials said.
