IMF likely to delay next Pakistan loan tranche

CAPE CANAVERAL: A hydrogen leak in the external fuel tank of the space shuttle Discovery forced NASA to delay its final mission to the International Space Station Friday for the fifth time.

Shell exasperated over delay in Rs 5 billion payment

The international oil giant, Shell Pakistan is irked over continuous delays in payment of over five billion rupees by the government of Pakistan on account of price differential claims, sales tax and petroleum development levy refunds.

More than 100 constables and lower cadre officials from the Lahore Police protested inside Qila Gujjar Singh Police Lines on Tuesday against senior officials for delaying their salaries, said sources from the Lahore Police Operations Wing. However Rai Nazar, the capital city police officer's (CCPO) spokesman denied any such protest.
