More fake degree cases sent to police

ISLAMABAD - The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) on Monday referred five cases of lawmakers holding fake degrees to police for registration of criminal cases against the parliamentarians. An ECP official said Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) Hamid Ali Mirza referred the cases to the district police officers (DPOs) concerned. He said the CEC directed police to register criminal cases against the accused lawmakers for their involvement in corrupt practices.
