PESHAWAR - A two-storey building collapsed in the densely populated area of the provincial metropolis, leaving six dead, including three children, and injuring six others, Rescue 1122 and hospital sources said on Monday. QUETTA - Two Chinese engineers were killed in a mine-related accident in Killa Saifullah district on Sunday. According to reports, the Chinese engineers were busy in mining of chromites in Muslim Bagh area when the mine caved, which resulted to their instant death. QUETTA - An official of the Balochistan Frontier Corps was killed and two others injured in an armed attack in Mastung district, 60kms south of Quetta, on Saturday.
According to Levies sources, some FC personnel were passing through the jungle area of Mastung along the RCD Highway when unidentified men opened fire on them.

ISLAMABAD: A Chinese national woman doctor, Dr Jiya, 48, was mysteriously found dead at her residence-cum-clinic here on Friday in a posh sector of the federal capital.
The police said she had been running a clinic at Rose Plaza at I-8 Markaz for several years.
"Dr Jiya, after embracing Islam, was married to a Pakistani national, Danish Hussain," said Industrial Area SP Ishaq Warraich. He said her hands had been tied and her mouth gagged with a piece of cloth, the SP added.

DUBLIN - A commuter plane crashed and burst into flames as it tried to land at Cork airport in southern Ireland on Thursday, killing six people and injuring another six, officials said.
