One judge holds court on New Year’s day
LAHORE - Only one judge out of five performed his duty at the accountability courts yesterday and heard four cases as all the remaining judges were on leave. Last day of SECP’s amnesty scheme
ISLAMABABAD - The amnesty schemes launched by the Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP), i.e., the Companies Regularisation Scheme (CRS) and Companies Easy Exit Scheme (CEES) shall close on Friday.

PML-N ready for foundation day
LAHORE - All set, Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz group will be celebrating its 104th foundation day on December 30.
The main function will be held at Expo Center Johar Town and will be presided over by PML-N Chief Mian Nawaz Sharif and attended by central and provincial leadership. A flag-hoisting ceremony will also be held.

NBP dominate on opening day
LAHORE - Wapda managed to score 227 runs on the opening day of the 10th round of Quaid-e-Azam Trophy match against SNGPL here at the LCCA ground on Saturday.

KARACHI: The provincial law enforcement agencies (LEAs) are indirectly inflicting massive losses on the shipping industry by using empty containers to block roads as part of their security measures during annual congregations like Muharram processions, Pakistan Today has learnt.

LAHORE: CNG seems to have vanished from Lahore, leaving locals to struggle for gas, as only a few stations in the city are offering gas due to low gas pressure, Pakistan Today has learnt.
