Umpires announced for East Zone C’ship
LAHORE - The East Zone Cricket Association's chairman tournament committee Waqar-ul-Munir has announced the umpires panel for the East Zone Championship. He said that in all 25 umpires will for supervise the zonal championship matches.

NBP thrash PTV in hockey c’ship
LAHORE - SSGC, NBP, Army and PIA won their respective matches of the 58th National Hockey Championship, which is in progress at the Faisalabad Hockey Stadium. On Saturday, another four matches were played. SSGC fought hard to beat Navy 5-4, NBP thrashed PTV 4-0, Army struggled to defeat Port Qasim 4-3 and PIA was stretched to its limit by HBL for a 3-2 win.

LAHORE - The final of the 6th National Deaf Squash Championship will be played today here at the Punjab Squash Complex, between Bilal Tahir and Balil Atiq,

LAHORE - The All Pakistan Fauji Cement Bridge Championship will be held at the Lahore Gymkhana Club from February 11 to 13, with two sessions allocated for the pairs event. The team event will be contested over two days.

ICC to hold Test C’ship in 2013
LAHORE: The International Cricket Council is eyeing June 2013 for the inaugural Test World Championship and will use current rankings to decide the four playoff spots, CEO Haroon Lorgat was quoted by Australian radio on Sunday.
