4 cops among 13 killed in Lahore suicide blast

LAHORE - At least four security personnel among 13 people were killed and 52 others injured in a suicide bomb explosion in a mourning procession near its concluding point at the Karbla Gamay Shah, private TV channels reported on Tuesday.
Quoting security officials, rescue workers and eyewitnesses, the channels reported that the blast occurred soon after the Azan-e-Maghrib, the evening prayers, near the Urdu Bazaar Chowk.

RAWALPINDI - Anti Terrorism Court (ATC) judge on Friday granted eight-day physical remand of two former police officers to the FIA team probing Benazir Bhutto's murder. Former Rawalpindi city police officer Saud Aziz and his subordinate officer, SP Rawal Town Khuram Shahzad, were produced before special court Judge Rana Nisar Ahmed Khan.

PESHAWAR - At least five people, including two policemen, were killed and several others injured in terrorist acts in Bannu and Mohmand Agency on Thursday.
