KARACHI - The Sindh Assembly was told on Friday that community development centres (CDCs) for eunuchs would be established in Karachi, Hyderabad and Sukkur. In these CDCs, facilities of residence and food would be made available, and eunuchs would be trained to become beauticians, besides being imparted training in other fields.

PESHAWAR: The Christians and Hindus in Lower Dir have demanded a community center at Timergara so they could arrange their functions there. The demand was made during a Christmas ceremony held at a local hotel. An NGO, the Rural Development Organisation (RDO) had arranged the ceremony.
