Nankana Sahib DPO commits suicide
NANKANA SAHIB - Nankana Sahib DPO Shahzad Waheed on Monday committed suicide by shooting himself with his official pistol. According to media reports, the incident occurred at 10am on Monday morning. Police said reasons behind the desperate act of the top cop were yet to be known. Waheed was deployed in Nankana Sahib some eight months ago and he hailed from Kamonki City. The officials have started the investigation into the case to come out with the reasons of the suicide.
College principal commits suicide
KARACHI - Salman Baloch, the Principal of Dawood College of Engineering and Technology (DCET), committed suicide, police said.
Baloch jumped from the college building. Baloch's body has been taken to Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Center (JPMC).
According to police, the reason behind committing suicide is not clear so far.
After the incident, all educational activities at the college for March 29 and 30 have been suspended.

KASUR - An old woman committed suicide over a domestic issue here on Monday at village Harrihar in the precincts of Sadar Police Station. Reportedly, Haleema Bibi was divorced some years ago and often remained upset on this issue. On the day of the incident, she ended her life by hanging herself from a tree.

SAHIWAL - A young girl committed suicide over some domestic problems. Reportedly, 20-year-old Anam, a resident of Chak No 82-5L, frustrated by domestic problems, jumped into Lower Bari Doab Canal and drowned.

LAHORE - A young man committed suicide by swallowing poisonous pills in Shahdara Police precincts on Friday. Police said that Nawazish Ali (24), a resident of Shahdara Town, locked himself in his room and took poisonous pills after his parents refused to marry him to his neighbour, whom he loved. His brother broke into the locked room to find Nawazish dead.

Wife of Pakistani killed by Davis commits suicide
LAHORE - The wife of one of two Pakistani motorcyclists shot dead by American Raymond Davis has committed suicide, police said. Davis was arrested on January 27 after shooting dead Faheem and Faizan, claiming he acted in self-defence fearing the pair were about to rob him.
A third Pakistani was knocked down and killed by a vehicle from the US Consulate in Lahore that tried to rescue Davis. The American was arrested by police and a case of double murder registered against him.

SAHIWAL - Samdi Bibi of Chak No 85/6R, frustrated by the unemployment of her husband Muhammad Siddiq, committed suicide. Reportedly, her husband had been jobless for several months. On the day of the incident, she took poisonous pills and fainted. She was taken to the DHQ hospital where she died.

KARACHI
A teenage girl allegedly committed suicide at her residence in Mehmoodabad, within the jurisdiction of the Baloch Colony police station on Monday.
Rescue sources said the 14-year-old Shumaila shot herself. The body was shifted to Civil Hospital Karachi for legal formalities.
