Protest at Queen Mary College – A widow asks for justice
LAHORE - A widow and a former employee of Queen Marry College (QMC) Lahore along with her family brought the academic activities at the college and the traffic outside the hospital to a halt in a protest against the QMC administration for not giving her pension.

FC college discusses role of science
LAHORE - Two-day international workshop on "The Conduct of Responsible Science" started yesterday, in the auditorium of FC College University Lahore. Punjab University Vice-Chancellor, Prof Dr Mujahid Kamran presided over the second session of the first day of the workshop. LAHORE - University of the Punjab has notified the result of MBBS Part-I examination, in which Shaikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al-Nahyan Medical & Dental College, Lahore has secured top 14 positions.
Nafeesah Fatimah (Roll No 273) secured the first position with 473 marks out of 600, while Mehreen Kamran (Roll No 270) and Rohma Awais (Roll No 276) secured the second and third positions with 468 and 459 marks respectively.

LAHORE - Jinnah Islamia College of Commerce and Govt Gulberg College qualified for the final of the Punjab University Lahore Zone Inter-collegtiate Cricket Championship here on Thursday.

Lahore College notch badminton title
LAHORE - Lahore College for Women University won the Inter-collegiate Girls Badminton Championship organised by the Lahore Board here at the Govt Physical Education College for Women Township. LCU defeated Govt College for Women Okara in the final while Islamia College for Women Lahore Cantt secured third place. Ghazala Saddiq of LCU was declared the best player.

HEC launches TESOL for college teachers
ISLAMABAD - Higher Education Commission (HEC), in collaboration with the United States (US) Embassy, has launched a training course for Rawalpindi and Islamabad colleges' English teachers.
