LAHORE - Peshawar Club earned their first win in the fourth edition of the National Women's Football Club Championship on Tuesday. They beat Striker FC 2-0 in the Group D match at Frontier College for Women. Midfielder Tahira landed the opener in the 29th minute while Arifa added another in the 64th minute. Frontier have already topped their Group with six points, entering the 7th National Women's Championship slated to run at Islamabad's Jinnah Stadium from September 17 to 30.
