Over 400 industrial units closed due to gas outages

FAISALABAD - More than 400 industrial units were closed, rendering thousands of daily wagers jobless due to three-day Sui gas closure in Faisalabad.
A spokesman of the industrialists told journalists on Thursday that the Sui Northern Gas Pipelines Limited (SNGPL) had issued a three-day gas load management schedule for the industrial sector of Faisalabad.

‘321 industrial units closed down in KP, Balochistan last year’

ISLAMABAD - The parliament was informed on Monday that the deteriorating law and order situation coupled with gas and power shortages had led to the closure of 307 industrial units in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) and 14 in Balochistan last year.
