LAHORE - Multan-born international striker and Wapda's spearhead Arif Mehmood, the only Pakistani to score a hat-trick in the SAFF Championship, clinched the Leading Scorer Award for the fifth time in the Pakistan Premier Football League.
Mehmood struck 21 goals in the 240-match League that finished on Thursday. The 240 matches produced 615 goals, Arif being the only player to score more than 20. Arif was also the leading goal-scorer in PPFL 2004, 2006, 2007 and 2009.

Japan’s Kameda clinches WBA bantamweight title
SAITAMA - Japan's Koki Kameda won the vacant World Boxing Association (WBA) bantamweight title on Sunday when he defeated Alexander Munoz of Venezuela by a unanimous decision.
The three judges scored it 115-111, 116-109 and 117-109, all in favour of Kameda.
The victory has made Kameda the first Japanese boxer to win three world titles, following the WBA light flyweight title in August 2006 and the World Boxing Council flyweight title in November 2009.

LUMS clinches runners-up trophy in LSE Sports Gala
LAHORE: Lahore School of Economics (LSE) held its annual Sports Gala from 10th to 15th November, 2010. Among the participants were Lahore University of Management Sciences (LUMS), Institute of Business Administration (IBA) and University College Lahore (UCL).
Both male and female students took part in a number of sports including basketball, football, cricket and volleyball. LUMS managed to take home the runner-up trophy even though they could not take part in the volleyball
