Tour de Pak cyclists honoured as Sabir clinches top slot
LAHORE - The city district government at Abbottabad held a reception in honour of thecyclists participating in the 16th Tour De Pakistan International Cycle Race that concluded on Sunday evening.
The cyclists after covering a distance of 1660 kilometres reached Abbottabad in eleven stages. Mohammad Sabir Hussain of WAPDA was the overall leader and won the 16th edition of the race. Sabir completed the journey from Karachi to Abbottabad in 44 hours, 35 minutes and 45 seconds.

LAHORE - WAPDA's Mohammad Sabir won the sixth stage of the 16th Tour de Pakistan International Cycle Race.
The sixth stage paddled off from Bahawalpur towards Multan on Monday morning. Sabir covered the distance of 90 kilometers in 2hours, 36minutes and 34 seconds to win the stage. Forty-six cyclists participated in the race but two were disqualified by the judges.

LAHORE Asif Junior of Sindh won the third stage of the 16th Tour de Pakistan International Cycle Race when he covered a distance of 150 kilometers, from Moro to Sukkur, in four hours 16 minutes and 42 seconds The third stage of the race started from Moro and Asif Jr led the pack of 52 riders from the start. He finished ahead of all as cyclists two were disqualified by the judges. Today, the cyclists will move towards Rahim Yar Khan for 4th stage.

WAPDA clinches National Ju-Jitsu
LAHORE - The 7th National Ju-Jitsu Championship 2011 concluded here at the WAPDA Sports Complex on Saturday with hosts WAPDA winning the title with 77 points. Police secured the second place with 39 points while Punjab got the third place with 28 points.
